Owner and Surgeon
Dr. Sulyman- Scott is a board-certified Otolaryngologist - Head and neck surgeon and a fellowship trained, board-eligible facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and the owner of That Face Facial Plastic Surgery in Chicago. Dr. Sulyman-Scott started her career in healthcare as a registered nurse and after working for 7 years in multiple sectors of healthcare she continued her journey to become a doctor.
Dr. Sulyman-Scott graduated from the pretigious Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine with honors. Dr. Sulyman-Scott completed a rigorous five-year residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the highly ranked University of Minnesota then pursued even more specialized training in the highly competitive field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sulyman-Scott completed a year-long fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago under the mentorship of Dr. Steven Dayan.
On completion of her fellowship training, Dr. Sulyman-Scott started her own facial plastic surgery practice, That Face, in the beautiful neighborhood of Lincoln Park, Chicago. As the only surgeon in her practice and only African American female facial plastic surgeon in Chicago, Dr. Sulyman has worked relentlessly to build a thriving practice which is quickly being recognized as a place for facial plastic surgery and facial aesthetics excellence. Dr. Sulyman-Scott has a passion for making her patients feel and look beautiful.
